Karrie Sestak, O.D.
Optometrist
Dr. Karrie Sestak is originally from St. Paul, Nebraska. She attended Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she eventually found her interest in optometry. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Southern College of Optometry, one of the nation’s leading optometry schools.
While at Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Sestak was a student fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honors Society. She was also a member of Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, where her efforts helped organize and provide eyecare to the citizens of Belmopan, Belize.
Dr. Sestak completed her clinical training at The Eye Center in Memphis, TN, Orlando Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Orlando, FL, and Nittany Eye Center in State College, PA, where she gained extensive experience in comprehensive and problem-focused exams, advanced ocular disease management, and specialty contact lens care.
She then chose to pursue and complete a residency at Georgia Eye Partners, a multidisciplinary clinic that specializes in Ocular Disease, Ocular and Refractive Surgery, and Specialty Contact Lens, to expand her clinical knowledge and expertise. Since graduating residency, Dr. Sestak is excited to now join the Georgia Eye Partners team full-time.
In her free time, Dr. Sestak enjoys sampling new restaurants, time spent with friends and family, and listening to music.
