Harrison Vo, O.D.
Ocular Disease Resident Optometrist
Dr. Harrison Vo joined Georgia Eye Partners in 2024 to commence his post-doctoral training as an Ocular Disease Resident Optometrist. Born and raised in the metro-Atlanta area, Dr. Vo completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Kennesaw State University in Georgia before graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas, where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree.
During optometry school, Dr. Vo provided comprehensive eye care to underserved communities across the San Antonio area, where he discovered his passion for providing accessible eye care. His dedication to community service extended to volunteering for his school’s mission trip clinic in Missions, Texas, delivering eye care services to disadvantaged populations. Dr. Vo further honed his skills through diverse externships, including rural primary care optometry at Ginter Eyecare Center in Lubbock, Texas and advanced ocular disease management at Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta, Georgia.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Vo has actively contributed to optometric education and research. He found fulfillment in mentoring and tutoring fellow students, serving as a teaching assistant, and assuming leadership roles such as Class Secretary and Student Ambassador. Dr. Vo’s scholarly pursuits have resulted in publications in prestigious ophthalmology and vision science journals, stemming from his previous affiliations with the Atlanta Veteran Affairs and Rosenberg School of Optometry.
Driven by a steadfast dedication to patient-centered care, Dr. Vo remains committed to enhancing his patients’ quality of life through meticulous attention to their eye health needs.
In his leisure time, he enjoys staying active and social with activities like working out, hiking, hosting dinner parties, and traveling in his free time.
